Day One: Dundarave to Ambleside

Start your morning at one of the charming cafés along Dundarave's Marine Drive. After a flat white and a fresh pastry, stroll the seawall path eastward toward Ambleside. The views of Stanley Park and the downtown skyline across the inlet are postcard-perfect.

Lunch at the Pier

Ambleside's waterfront restaurants offer fresh Pacific seafood with unbeatable views. Grab a window table and watch the float planes land in the harbour while you enjoy wild salmon or halibut and chips.

Day Two: Lighthouse Park & Beyond

Head west to Lighthouse Park for a morning hike through old-growth forest. The Point Atkinson lighthouse at trail's end has been guiding ships since 1912. Continue to Whytecliff Park for a picnic lunch overlooking Howe Sound.

Evening Winds Down

Return to your rental for a quiet evening on the deck. West Vancouver's lack of high-rises means you'll enjoy some of the most spectacular sunsets on the Lower Mainland, with the mountains of Bowen Island silhouetted against the sky.
